I'm a philosopher working in ethics, social epistemology, and feminist philosophy. My research focuses on the roles of hope and moral imagination in political activism, particularly in the prison abolition movement. I'm also interested in moral psychology, political philosophy, metaethics, and the role of art in activism.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I earned my PhD at the Graduate Center, CUNY. While at CUNY, I taught at Baruch College and Brooklyn College, and was a Fellow with the Committee on Globalization and Social Change, as well as a Writing Fellow at Hostos Community College’s Writing Across the Curriculum program.
